2,400 Square Feet

Date

2023

TOOLS

Sketchbook, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

Oscar-winning American actress, film director, producer, and interior design aficionado Diane Keaton's seasonally driven plant-based restaurant offers creative, forward-thinking, and re-thought dishes, tonics, and cocktails in a dashingly rusticated, reimagined, and repurposed space.

Located on the lower floor of a loft building in the industrial northern Greenpoint neighborhood in Brooklyn, the space has 19.5-foot ceilings, allowing for a new mezzanine level, an enclosed back garden, cellar-level kitchens, and the opportunity to design a custom storefront.

The New Nostalgia

Rethinking and adapting old ways of nourishing ourselves with a new understanding of what we need to thrive with culture, art, food and drink. It’s not going back; it’s bringing what we need forward. The old ways meet the new, practical mixed with fantastical, simplicity elevated to excite and to inspire. Boldly redefining the possible in how we live and eat—joyous work rooted in the most basic understanding of life and food.
